De 4 C's van een diamant verwijzen naar de vier belangrijkste elementen die de kwaliteit en waarde van een diamant bepalen: slijpvorm, karaat, kleur en helderheid. de 4 C's van een diamant worden in acht genomen om de kwaliteit en waarde van een diamant te bepalen.
Carat Weight (Karaatgewicht)
Karaatgewicht is een meeteenheid voor het gewicht van een diamant, waarbij 1 karaat = 0,2 gram. Er kunnen ook punten worden gebruikt waarbij 1 karaat = 100 punten. Omdat grotere diamanten zeldzamer zijn, hebben ze over het algemeen een hogere prijs per karaat.
Cut (vorm)
